You have a point, not just any fight would move floyd, but froch-chavez, and canelo-cotto, would most certainly be able to cause some waves..

If HBO was going to bump heads with a Floyd date they would have been done it; they are not in the business of getting beat head to head and that's exactly is what would happen.

I disagree respectfully!!!! If the Cold War is over, and because HBO IS A BIGGER network than showtime, De La Hoya will work with Bob Arum and HBO on his fighter (by the way is the biggest Mexican draw) holiday and put him against Cotto just to hurt Floyd!!!!

Your missing the point it wouldn't matter who out sells who. The fight want reach it's full potential from a money stand point going up against a Mayweather fight the same with Mayweather going up against Chavez froch or Canelo Cotto. These ppl wanna make money for sure money. When you get names this big you will wait to have your own night and capitalize. A Cotto Canelo fight may 12th does way more money than a May 5th fight up against Mayweather you know what I mean? From a business stand point they want do it.

You would want Canelo vs Cotto on it's on day; you kill a lot of money going head to head with Floyd; with 65k less seats Floyd vs Maidana live gate tripled Froch vs Groves. I understand it's Boxingscene and they think people are dumb enough to try it; but the powers to be aren't ****** Showtime would never go head to head with a Manny PPV.
