No Freddie! Cotto vs Canelo for the Middleweight Title. They both are gonna come in well under 160. Have a 157 weight limit if anything and get the fight done.

Canelo should move up to 160 regardless if he wins or loses to Trout. Target Quillin if Cotto doesn't want it at middleweight (which is a bich move by Cotto and Roach to be honest)

Martinez walked second and was announced second as well, so the "Diva" label isn't as compelling as it was in the build-up to the fight. But you're right: Canelo clearly has more leverage than Martinez ever could. Just hoping Canelo takes care of the business in front of him. Sure -- he and Cotto could still have a big fight in December even if he loses to Lara, but it will be pretty anti-climactic if that's what happens.

Line both Cotto + Canelo up for GGG at the same evening, either Tag Team or one after another.

You really think GGG is some type of God huh? When asked who's the best fighter he's ever been in the ring with he said canelo alvarez

Canelo vs Cotto at 154 would be bigger than an alphabet title anyway. The sanctioning bodies have devalued their titles so badly that being a 'world champion' is more a marketing tool than being something people consider a major achievement. So I don't think no title being on the line matters in the slightest, it is what it is, two top 5 guys in what would be a highly anticipated and well supported fight.

Just having some fun with the Cotto fanclub who suddenly think Cotto has become an unstoppable monster because he got Martinez at a perfect time. If these guys really think so high of Cotto (Middleweight #1 etc) they shouldnt have a problem with him fighting GGG? What are they afraid of?
