Gamboa needs to take boxing serious, hiring his father as the head trainer was his worst move. Hist father is trying to make Gamboa into something he isn't, Gamboa isn't a traditional cuban boxer point fighter, he is a monster.

Never remove that monster from him, if you take that away it ruins the fighter, Gamboa cannot be a traditional boxer in a big weight division like 135-140 so he needs to be aggressive and get low to avoid counters.

If you notice in the Solis fight he put on one of his best performances against a 5 foot 11 fighter, he also didn't have his dad in his corner.

Gamboa needs to bring this Beast back, Gamboa makes me angry, he ruined himself, if he had discipline he could have been making 5 million dollar pay days now. Gamboa is easily top 5 p4p EXCITING boxers of the last few years. But his consistency is bad, he came on the scene like a young Tyson, and than he fell off he become gun shy and timid and would only flurry every other round.

Gamboa looks sloppy and off balance in that footage. Crawford is going to put a whooping on the little man.

Anyway, I agree. I don't know how long ago that footage was shot, but I don't like how slow and flat-footed Yuri looked.

I know you dont go all out in sparring but they might as well have sent the walking dead to spar up there with Gamboa.

Not much to really take from sparring but I think it gives me a bit of hope that Gamboa wont be chasing constantly, he will need to tighten that guard up a bit though lets see if he can hurt Crawford...

If Gambao can beat TC and Vazquez same year surely he might just be creeping onto top 10 P4P list.

I'm going with Crawford though, this will be a great fight
