Last time I saw that kind of thinking things didn't turn out too well. lol

Anyway, I agree. I don't know how long ago that footage was shot, but I don't like how slow and flat-footed Yuri looked.

Gamboa needs too bring the beast out, get in close with a bob and weave style and throw those tornado punches he used to throw.

If he tries to out box Crawford he is screwed and will probably get knocked out for the first time.

I don't favor Gamboa in this fight because of the strategy he needs to go to beast mode and realize he is not like other cuban boxers who rely on stick and move he is a monster like Pacquiao, Duran, Tyson, not a pretty boy boxer.
Agreed to all. Gamboa needs to drop his dad and get with a real, world-class trainer. And if he's got any of it left in him at all, Yuri needs to summon the old "Ciclon." It's his best chance...and nobody wants to see Gamboa "the boxer" anyways....

Crawford gonna take this one. Just too much for Gamboa at this point in my opinion...

With all that talent it's too bad he wasn't blessed with more reach, that's gonna hurt him against Crawford.

Will be a tough night for Gamboa, i see him getting outboxed and getting frustrated. Hopefully he can catch Crawford early and knock him out, on the scorecards i give Gamboa not much of a chance. Crawford too rangy, quick and defensive. Still rooting for the Ciclon de guantanamo.

Its too late to drop anyone and hook up with someone else. No trainer can fix age.

I guess we'll have to accept that Gamboa will always drop his hands and admire his work after an exchange. I've always said he's a KO waiting to happen but I don't think Crawford, as good as he is, is the man to get the job done.

The guy turns 33 in December. lol Gamboa is inactive and lacking direction. True, Yuri probably won't have a long, successful career, but age isn't a concern just yet.
