Well he needs to get as much as he can. He's a good fighter of course, just not on Klitschko's level.

I also think he's rejected a shot in the past - maybe because he wanted an official mandatory position which is helpful when fighting a Klitschko.

Sometimes, the IBF takes a vote if they feel the mandatory doesn't bring much to the table.

As for example, Tony Thompson only got 15% for his second shot and I think Pulev will get 20% at best.

Was Thompson ranked number 1 or 2 at the time? According to their rules a fight between the champion and a challenger ranked number 3 or below would see a 85/15 split if it goes to purse bids.

He was #2 as he fought Harris for that spot I think.

Yeah 20% sounds about right for a number 2 ranking but they don't really mention anything in their rules. It also depends on whether it actually goes to purse bids or not. If they make a deal prior they can split the money as they see fit.

Don't be silly. You know Fury didn't duck him.

Fury had also already fought 2 eliminators - going into his 3rd.

This Pulev guy has no chance. He's looking for a big payday rather than focusing on beating the champ. He must know he has no chance at beating Wlad so he's focused on the payday instead. I hope Wlad retires Pulev like he did Sultan Ibragimov, another overrated European bum just like Pulev.
