if floyd mayweather jr is not in anyones top 10 greatest list you're having a laugh. how many world champions has he beat? same with pacquiao.
every great person was seen as an outkast in his own generation. only generations future saw the greatness in them

I don't have one and I doubt anyone else really has one either. I have an idea about which fighters were great but I have never made a list in order starting with the best, then 2nd best and so on.

I like a lot of the lists posted....

Of today's fighters,I would put Mayweather in the top 25.

The Klits in the top 200,probably around 199.

i had a top ten about three years ago when i posted exclusively in the history section. i really had the top 20 pretty much hashed out, but i believe that the top 10 are the only ones i hashed out.

here's what i'd consider a top five. the order gets wishy washy after ray robinson

          robinson

          greb
          armstrong
          langford
          ali

Unless there are any posters who are like 85-100 years old on here, no one should have a top 100 ATG list.......but plenty of people like to pretend so if you like then have at it and make lists about fighters you have never even seen fight before.

I based my list on the ESPN list they released a few years back. Just because you're not a 100 years old doesn't mean you have to disregard much of the history of the sport because you haven't seen every single fight.

So in other words you are talking about things you really don't know anything about and are accepting word of mouth as fact.

ATG lists are much like P4P lists. You put the standard 2 guys at the top to seem "legit" and keep people reading, then the rest of the list is subjective opinion.

p4p - all things being equal - nobody touches Ivan Calderon

He floated like a butterfly; stung like bee w/o a stinger

Still so smooth like butter and so underrated because of his size
