i guess ward is fairly well known in the UK. like he says most people who know froch probably know ward from beating him, knowing him and paying money to watch him are two separate things however. i dont see him drawing 80 000 in the UK or anywhere else for that matter, he cant even draw 10 000 in his home city.

he is right about froch not being a big draw in the states though. i dont think his success in the UK since the super six has elevated him all that much in the states. obviously a bit since his fights with kessler and groves were on hbo, but anyone who thinks froch is a big draw in the US is delusional.

Everyone knows who Froch is. Ward is a clowning, craving the attention. His stubbornes could be his downfall. Karma right at you.

Maybe he's spending too much time with Amir Khan these days ?

What was the crowd like in AC when they fought?

I bet it would be a little different now.

Because Carl Froch drew 80k to Wembley and Ward beat Carl Froch... therefore he draws three times as that because of Ward's law.

other than the guys at the club (and I'm not sure about half of them) I'm the only person I know who knows who ward is.

It's a real shame how Andre Ward is wasting away in his prime. His comments seem to contain an increasing element of bitterness and jealousy.

Has anyone else listened to the podcast? Wondering what others thoughts on the interview are. He seemed cool if he doesn't fight again. I feel for him he's in a tough situation.
