Seems to me, Judah had the same small tear in his knees.

You can keep posting that video like it means something

Zab Judah was literally dead in his prime when that fight happened. He went on to fight many big fights.

I guarantee you Martinez doesnt fight another meaningful fight EVER.

If Cotto beats Canelo or another solid middleweight I will be the biggest Cotto fan. But most likely he will fight Mayweather at a catch weight of 154 for the 160 title.

      Did you even read this?

“I had a partially torn meniscus. I had a breakage in the femoral capsule, right behind the knee. I had a post-operation infection right before the [Martin] Murray fight. I had partially broken cartilage, where the cartilage became like a small saw on my tibia. I had an injury in my ligaments as well, a distension of the ligaments. I also had chondromalacia patellae, which is the injury that occurs beneath the kneecap. That’s why they couldn’t find an integral solution, because there were many injuries together. And recovering from that, being 39 years of age, was difficult."

Why are you running around minimalizing his injury....?

And if Maravilla had such a horrible resume... Aren't you only taking away from the value of Cotto's victory...? Trying to prop up Cotto's victory on one hand, while shooting it down with the other. Smart.

Cotto does not need you to be a fan. Cotto's bank account is nice. The issue here is Martards getting lost in the illusion of greatness. Sergio got exposed as the Journeyman Killer he always was. To try and minimize by acting like his knees were that bad is nonsense. Watch the intro. Dude was smooth on those feet. Watch the first 30 seconds. In Sergio's own words: " I got caught COLD. " Sergio beat Pavlik when Pavlik was fighting a staph infection and was mentally SHOT. Coming to his corner sounding like a mental midget in need of therapy every round. Admit it, Sergio's career was a series of lucky instances against boxings misfits. Williams was his best opponent. From that, you can keep kidding yourself like "no guy who beats Williams will EVER lose to a guy like Cotto" all you want.

          "Martards"... you're a joke kid.

If Sergio Martinez is the king of journeymen then it doesnt say much for Cotto who couldnt even get a clean KO on a journeyman king who has 1 good knee

Because at the end of the day, that is what he had. SMALL tear. No you can itemize every bandaid they used and try and make it sound like brain surgery but it is not. Lots of athletes deal with the same injury and return to work in WEEKS. Cotto should itemize his shoulder injury/surgery down to every little nuance too. And then, and then, and then Please

Name ONE professional athlete who is age 35+ that has gone through a knee surgery and "gone back to work in weeks".

              Name ONE. Just ONE.

But it does because Cotto left that arena with this letter W. Martinez left that arena, ran to Spain with this letter L. Why is a dude from Argentina running from anyhow? Is it easier to love dixx in Spain?
