Pac already beat super middleweight Margarito who probably is as good as Barkley was, both not too great.

But Pac has already more titles in divisions than his peers so no need to step and fight bigger guys, Pacs waiting for his peers to catch up with him.
Maybe if Floyd beats GGG, then it might spur Pac on to fight at 154?

just a point, without the useless hate, bias and trolling:

Duran kept moving up higher and higher because because he wanted to erase the humiliation of the SRL loss, the fact that he quit. It was a monkey on his back which I think still affects him to this day.

He actually moved up because he could no longer make the weight, he was a fat tub of lard, he has said this many times.

Also because he didn't have money he would spend it on food and partying. So he was forced to continue fighting and he hated working out to make weight.

Duran and Toney are similar smaller guys who fought outside of their weight class, but they were big guys naturally but first started getting size advantages by cutting a lot of weight early in their career. But wound up at the natural class later on.

Duran was a natural welterweight, Toney was a natural light heavyweight or cruiser, he even said he used to weigh around 200 pounds when he used to play football in high school but cut weight to 160 for boxing.

Shawn Porter is another big guy fighting way below his natural weight, Porter played football at around 180 but now fights at 147 and even tried to go as low as 140, Porter weight class should be 160.

Pac and Floyd are smaller guys, Floyd though is much bigger than Pacman, so that says a lot about what Pac has done, both guys are small but Floyd makes Pac look even smaller.

some of these are good points but theres no denying Duran primarily wanted to run away from the spectre of his loss to SRL, it was total himiliation for a "real man" as he called himself. He wasnt even allowed back in Panama for some time, it wasnt till his series of fights with Hearns and Hagler that he found semblance of forgiveness but not complete rehabilitation, cos they were losses.

SRL haunted Duran, still haunts him today to some extent.

He's already fought at jr mw He wouldn't be moving up a 9th division ... It'd be nice to see him actually win that 8th title legitimately though ...

I honestly believe Duran threw the fight and got paid, there is no way he would quit and that stomach cramps is BS he threw that ****, the way he answered without answering made no sense. He could have beat Ray again if you ask me.

If he had cramps and flu he would have been in the crapper moaning and taking a dump right after the fight.

His vague answers gave it away. A lot of older great fighters fought fixed fights or were throwing fights, its a shame but its the painful truth.
