How does getting a gift SD against C. Zelenoff earn someone a shot at the HW title?

Wilder is slowly taking over Broner's place as the most delusional fighter in the game.

The hate is strong with Wilder and it mostly has to do with nationalism in this site. Wilder has done exactly what Tyson did 25 years ago and was considered the most dangerous man in the ring!!!
Umm... what? Mitch "Blood" Green >>>> any fighter that Wilder has faced yet. James "Quick" Tillis >>> any fighter Wilder has beaten. Not to mention Tyson was a small 5'10 guy knocking out much bigger men. Wilder fights smaller over the hill fighters and out of shape bums. Get the **** out of here with this disrespect of a legend like Tyson that fought the best that the division had to offer.

I think Wilder will get some respect when he wins this one.

But soon after Wladimir might come and steal that belt off him.

Yes I've watched his fights for years.

He has decent power, he's not a 1 punch KO artist. But he's got sound skills. I'm not taking anything away from him, I just think Wilder will beat him because he only needs to land one or two shots to get the job done - and Stiverne doesn't move his head at all.

And beating Arreola is not a big task anyway - but we'll see on the night.

It was a horrible, horrible stoppage.
I've seen that fight multiple times, and no doubt Stiverne has come on from that.

And yes, the stoppage was probably bad - it doesn't change the fact that he was taking clean punches continuously. As I said, his defense is crap - and I think it will be his downfall vs Wilder.

Deontay is a specialfighter. He is the beginning of the American Heavyweight take over. You idiots gain control for a few years and forget that the baddest fighters overwelemly come from the US. The only thing that gave the Kilts chosen their reign was size. Once our big men from the US flood the sport all other countries can forget about heavyweight boxing History always repeat itself. Wilder has that American Warrior spirit. Us leads the whole world and ain't nothing anybody can do about it.

Wilder's resume is very poor for a mandatory challenger. Leapai was not good either but at least he beat one ranked guy in an eliminator. Malik Scott was not a serious contender or ranked but he is Wilder's best "win".

This is the heavyweights and Stiverne can certainly ****, Wilder's chin is suspect so I am very confident that Stiverne could pull off a 1 punch KO.

That said, he eats punches against the ropes so that he can counter, I can't see him trying that against Wilder because that would be a deathwish but if he does, burying his face in his gloves won't work- Wilder knocked Scott out through the other side of his gloves!
