Comments Thread For: Wilder: I Know Stiverne is Scared, Having Nightmares!

Heavyweight puncher Deontay Wilder (31-0, 31KOs) believes WBC champion Bermane Stiverne is intimidated and attempting to avoid a potential fight between them. Wilder is the mandatory challenger to Stiverne, who capture the vacant belt with a rematch knockout of Chris Arreola.

Stiverne's promoter preferred a unification with heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko, but the WBC rejected that idea and ordered their champion to face Wilder next - unless an agreement was reached for Wilder to step aside.

Wilder feeling the heat of climbing up the ranks and is starting talking a lot of trash. Stiverne is definitely not afraid of anybody, he is one bad mother****er. Stiverne will floor Wilder and stop him, no doubt here. Stiverne isn't some random bum of the kind Wilder has fought most of his pro career.

Something tells me Wilder is going to get stopped against Stiverne. To me Wilder is the heavyweight version of Broner. Overhyped, overconfident and resting too much on his laurels from knocking out bums to realize what's in front of him. Stiverne is the real deal. Anyone that can do that to Arreola is the real deal.

Wilder is talking trash and playing the role, but damn it I just don't think he belongs at this level yet.

Should have got him better quality opponents as they built him. Stiverne is a tall ****ing order for a guy whose best win is against ****in' Liakhovich.

Why is Stiverne a badder mother***a than Wilder?

I think Wilder will wipe the floor with him easy.

Stiverne is big, big step up from the cab drivers that Wilder has been knocking out. Now we find out if he's legit.

Obviously i'd lean towards Stiverne purely because of his established credentials at heavyweight. However when you possess the power that Wilder clearly has, who knows!

Wilder better be working on his jab, fighting in the pocket with the shorter fighter is a no no.

Wilder is having to step up so the gigantic big lump will have to borrow the tactic of David Haye and hope his trash talk puts Stiverne off his gameplan.
Kind of feel bad for Stiverne from beating Arreola twice to having to beat a guy who has done absolutely nothing anywhere close to world level...
Maybe Deontay can pay him off to take a dive like Malik Scott did.
