This is what kills me about this board. A man fights fighters coming off fight of the year candidates, career defining wins, top 3 in division, and champions, yet he doesnt challenge himself. But in the same breath will praise Manny for fighting a guy 2, 3, and 4 times even though Manny never lost to him. So Manny is challenging himself by fighting someone 3 times who he has never lost to?

I have to admit I find this particular type of topic pretty boring and irrelevant, mainly because I am British not American.

However...

I think Floyd will eventually run out of $$$ if he maintains his current spend.

I didn't realise he had his own private jet, that type of extravagance hits really hard.

The reason why rock stars and actors maintain a huge lifestyle is because they have a) A much longer career b) Have sustainable income from royalties and c) Generally have better advisers d) have more expenses paid for them.

I don't think Floyd will ever be short of gas money, but he may find it harder to maintain his current lifestyle.

Pac man is different - he is clearly less materialistic, and may have a income form his other interests, also his lifestyle in the Philippines is much more easier to maintain.

how is that the same. so if you made a million euros/pounds/dollars and everybody around you took it before you could spend 1 euro/pound/dollar is the same as you spending all of the million euros/pounds/dollars on whatever you wanted? in the end you may be broke but at least you had fun with what you earned spending it your way vs. others spending it for you.

Floyd is a special fighter. Manny is a special fighter, also. it's been proven that Manny WILL fight anyone. That cannot be questioned. Can you say the same about Floyd, honestly? No you can't. He's a prize fighter, not a legacy fighter. Manny was a HOF'mer before he moved up two divisions to welterweight. It was that run that made him a legend. He's a junior welterweight fighting bigger guys and not folding but getting the better of them. To me, he still hasn't lost clearly since the first Morales fight. He beat Bradley both times. Roidquez is all of a sudden, bigger and stronger at his advanced age. So those fights don't count in my book. Floyd's win over Canelo was a legacy fight BUT Floyd had to drain a fighter in Canelo, who was muscular and didn't have two pounds to lose. He lost muscle. It wasn't fair. Floyd would've won with his experience anyway, but the power and speed of Canelo, made him do the catchweight. Let's see how both fighters finish their careers. Every opponent Manny faces, can beat him. Every opponent Floyd fights, he has to have some type of an advantage. What does that tell us about him? He's a bully and not good for the sport. Does he really think he's TBE? Or, is he a bit insecure about his own abilities? I just want to see the best fight the best. My favorite fighters take challenges. The bolded, underlind, and italicized has not been proven. Manny has fought 4 fighters for a total of 10 fights. Now if you want to give him credit for "names" he has fought, sure then he has fought any and everyone. But its not always about who you fight, its also when you fight them!
