Honestly, I take more of an issue with Golovkin being #7...
I'm a big fan of Golovkin. I see plenty of potential in him to become great. It appears that many top fighters are hesitant to get in the ring wit him. However, that is irrelevant here. As far as his accomplishments go, I feel it is preposterous for him to be ranked #7 in the entire world. Is the p4p rankings now based on speculation and potential? I feel that it should be based on accomplishments.Comment

The name that really doesn't belong is Mikey, or maybe GGG. Golovkin of course has talent but he just hasn't had the opportunity to truly make a case for P4P yet.
Cotto? He just beat the man to beat at 160. Sergio may have seen better days, but Cotto dominated. Hell, having Mikey right under Cotto is sort of insulting to Miguel.Last edited by samouraï; 06-10-2014, 07:35 PM.Comment

I couldn't be happier for Cotto. As great as his career was, his world title victories were lukewarm and he lost the 3 biggest fights of his career. He beat some highly ranked contenders but never beat the top dogs in his division, was always holding alphabet titles and didn't have that career defining victory to cement his legacy.
Now he has it and nobody can take it away from him.Comment
