How is Mayweather beating GGG a better win than beating Cotto at MW?

How is beating GGG a better win than beating Cotto?

Cotto is a much better fighter than Golovkin.
Cotto has accomplished more in the sport than GGG ever will.
Cottos resumes isnt even on the same planet as GGG's.
Cotto is the Lineal MW Champion of the World.

What has GGG ever done to be considered a good win? Speak broken english and knock out nobodies? And this is from a guy who enjoys watching him fight and anticipates his next scrap. But lets be serious here for a minute.

Now on the flip side for Cotto:

How is beating GGG a better win than beating Mayweather?

Mayweather's resumes isnt even on the same planet as GGG's.
Mayweather is the King of the JMW Division and the WW Division.

You better Thank God for Floyd being Floyd and not fighting real threats. GGG would brutalize him to say at least.

Because he already beat Cotto and would most likely beat him in a similar fashion again.

However, GGG is untested and should concentrate on fighting actual middleweights and possibly super middleweights, not past prime blown up welterweights for a pay day.

God you're ******ed burner. Floyd already beat Cotto. Beating him at a different weight class isn't proving anything. Floyd could beat Cotto at cruiserweight, doesn't matter.

GGG on the other hand is a true middleweight, in his prime, undefeated with a phenomenal amateur background as well. It would say a lot more for Floyd to beat a guy like GGG than to beat a guy he already beat.

I agree..Triple G would ****d Floyd and make him his girlfriend.
That's why Floyd should fight Cotto anywhere between 156 & 160..
Make Floyd come up in weight & Cotto knocks him out..Book it..

Fair enough if thats how you feel about a rematch. I thought Floyd won clearly at JMW vs Cotto but then again confidence as you know is a bytch in boxing and so is a better corner which Roach without question provides.

I do agree Golovkin needs to move up hell Cotto moved up 20lbs. Can GGG move up 8 FFS?

Save the name calling or youll be on my ignore list BRUH. Lets talk boxing. Like I told derranged confidence in boxing is a bytch and a better corner goes a long way. This fight also wouldnt be at a catch weight. Weight classes exist for a reason. Its not the same fight imo.

Now onto your GGG assessment I see 2-3 things:

              1. Hes undefeated
              2. He has a good AM background
              3. Prime? Maybe hes what 32, 33 something like that. And has truly fought no one worth a damn.

I still dont see how beating an unproven guy who has never showed his fighting ability against a half decent fighter makes it a great win for Floyd or Cotto. Having a good AM background isnt good enough for me nor should it be for you.

The blown up welter holds the lineal mw belt. Hows that not fair game? The other blown up welter is lineal at 154, and his fans are salivating over the possibility of another catchweight lineal belt at mw. If these guys are too small, probably shouldnt be going for them lineal belts much less sitting on them without defending vs legit divisional comp

I wouldn't say that GGG has to move up necessarily, but someone needs to find a way to get him better opponents, although his next one is a good start.
