hahahahaah Mayweather ducked "this" style of cotto when he retired after fighting ricky hatton. Cotto was 31-0 and just beat mosley a month before. Both where in the same weight division. Why would floyd "retire" and say he has nothing else to prove? Hes a coward. "we dont fight to see whos the best, we fight to make money."-Floyd Mayweather JR.

Or perhaps, someone would be gracious enough to enlighten those of us who cannot see a difference with some examples of the "New Version" compared to the old in video format.
Easy. Styles makes fights. Stylistically, the cotto that fought mayweather has gotten away from what made him a beast in the 140 147 lb division. Which is do you dig that left hook to the liver. He basically traded his pattented left hook for a jab and being more defensive. "this" cotto is just like the old cotto that beat mosley, was 31-0 in the same weight division as mayweather, and mayweather retired after the ricky hatton fight saying that he has nothing else to prove, meanwhile like I said cotto beat mosley a month before. Mayweather jr is not ******, fighting "rough" guys is how his uncle got KTFO.

Per reports of his visit to the hospital, martinez's hands and knees where fine, but he did suffer a bad concussion and a broken nose. That left hook that hit him messed up his equilibrium so bad, he couldnt keep his own balance.

Funny thing is I remember roach saying something similar a few years ago then Floyd came back moving the thing is Floyd never fights the same fight that's why he's the best he adjust to whatever his opponent is doing so to think you gonna get the same Floyd mayweather your playing yourself

The hate for Floyyd Mayweather on here is truly something else, but with that said I believe any version of Cotto can give and defeat Mayweather. Yall take the whole "0" way more seriously than he does to be honest, its just a marketing tactic for the casuals, this isnt a video game where a 95 Overall always defeats a 80 Overall, every fighter can lose in any fight. I might be one of the few that believe that the gameplan Cotto had the first time was perfect and his poor stamina is the only reason he couldnt mantain that pace, the current version probably gets countered more flush, and Mayweather found out late in the fight that the uppercut was money, and not only does Cotto have a weakness for an uppercut, ALL Roach fighters share that same weakness which means it wont be fixed, I say its alreast more exciting now, but I prefered Pedro Diaz Cotto vs Floyd rather than Roachs.

I think Roach is quite comical... If my eyes were not deceiving me I would swear that Floyd didn't move when he fought Cotto the first time and still dominated lol somebody tell me if I'm wrong?

Reread your post, because I see the point you are trying to make but it also seems like you're saying this version of Cotto would give Mayweather more problems than the other version of him, however.. you also make it seem like Mayweather was ducking the Cotto that defeated Mosley which happened to be the Cotto that defeated Cotto, when he found out he could outbox a boxer, which is the style of Cotto Mayweather would have a field day with(ala Canelo), so I dont understand that logic.. "This" Cotto wasnt the Cotto that beat Mosley, its actually the very fight that changed Cotto for the worst in the long run.
