Both fighters are hot, Arum would be smart to keep them apart. Actually April does not sound bad for a double header...would be a fight to get top billing between the two but they could potentially sell a ton of ppv's if they linked up on the same fight card. Canelo vs Cotto and Pacquaio vs ??? i'm pretty sure that itself would be a hell of an attraction.

It's so weird that people have to talk about Cotto fighting Pac...when the obvious fight is Cotto vs. Mayweather which was actually a competitive fight and not the one-sided fight Pac-Cotto was...

The problem is Mayweather's demands are so ridiculous he only has a small pool of opponents he can fight...

      To be a Floyd opponent:

      1. You must wear Grant or Everlast XP edition (I call them Xtreme Pillow Edition) Gloves
      2. You must use Floyd's buddies at USADA for blood-testing
      3. Must take a very small percentage or flat fee of money
      4. Must fight in Vegas with Vegas judges and NSAC (both historically favorable to Floyd ask Maidana and Castillo)
      5. Must fight in that huge WWE ring in the MGM Grand in Vegas...
      6. Must leave your promoter if Floyd doesn't have more influence over him than you do (e.g. Richard Schaefer)
      7. Oh and finally, must not be a serious threat to win the fight...

This would be a farce. Especially if it was for the 160 title.

The fight to be made would be Mayweather-Cotto...but ala Canelo and Marquez...Floyd would probably make it a 154 1/2 catch weight for the MW title and then Floyd would weigh-in at 156 1/2...
You complained about Mayweather and catchweight but Pacquiao won his jr MW at 152 and hit WW at 145.

It would but with what money they going to pay all these fighters. Cotto vs Canelo would be at least $15-$20 mil in pay. Atleast $10 mil for Cotto. Pacquiao is about the same or a lil more.

No need for a rematch. Pac showed who was boss then it mattered really.

That said, it was a gret fight and I would watch it at 154 or 160, lol.

Pacquiao would get demolished if he fought Cotto @154 and everyone knows it

Actually I have no problems with catch weights...I was being sarcastic because of the Floyd-worshiping hypocrites who used to get on Manny and then started defending catch weights when Floyd drained Canelo..hilarious sht...

Pac actually beat Bradley at the full 47' to win the WW title as well js...
