From now on, Zab Judah is the biggest warrior in boxing as far as I'm concerned.

the more athletic person will have more natural ability to achieve techniucal skill and will be able to imploy it much better when properly trained.

im not saying that you can just stick an athlete in the ring and make him champ. im simply saying, at least here in america, a lot of great athletes who would make good fighters just never get into it cause its not a sport most even try.

Whatever you say, JuicyFruit. Some 18-22 year old punk on here who boxes every day but hasn't made a buck on the sport doesn't know more than I do about boxing. No way you can convince me of that.

I guarantee if Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson were trained as boxers instead of basketball players, they would be AMAZING boxers.

                  Boxing is 90% mental.

Timing for example isn't physical in my opinion, and timing is everything in boxing.

Wrong, alot of people dont take up boxing because it is HARD. You cannot play boxing like football. Ever wonder why every week you see new guys walk into the gym and never come back again? In england practically every kid has been playing soccer since they can kick a ball, you rarely meet anyone who has stuck with boxing for so long. It takes a certain breed to wanna be a fighter...not just atheletecism or skills. I know plenty of people who are naturally gifted and thought they were the real deal, they get beat up in sparring and they dont wanna know anymore about it.

Sure the likes of Jordan may have made great boxers, but really, how many people find it fun getting hit in the face?
