I don't understand why Dmitry Chudinov, the interim champ, doesn't get to fight for the regular title. The WBA should order the top two contenders, Chudinov and Fletcher, to fight for the title. Why does Danny Jacobs get a spot at the party? Things like this are meaningless in the grand scheme of life, but how does Danny Jacobs jump over the #1 contender and interim champ for a shot at the title?

In reality, Gennady Golovkin should have been stripped of the WBA title if he didn't want to face Fletcher. Mandatories are a part of boxing, if you don't want to defend the title against your mandatory then you should be stripped. But the WBA has loopholes to their own rules, like SUPER champions!

Situations like this further prove that people in this world are white, black, brown, and yellow. But green conquers all.

Chudinov was the original #1 contender with Fletcher the #2. The WBA was setting up a fight for the two of them until they decided they wanted Patrick Nielsen instead.

WBA said you can't make that fight unless Fletcher gets paid some step aside money and fights the winner.

Next thing you know he gets named the mandatory challenger two weeks before their fight.

Now Fletcher is fighting for a vacant belt while they guy who's position was created for this very reason is on the side.

what happened to Quillin-Jacobs? That's the better matchup by a country mile.

Silly to call this a "world" title fight. Never have figured out why fans call these "regular" or "ínterin" or "súper regular interim" "world" championships. A "world champion" is the best in the world at something. Once the WBC and WBA fill their quota at middleweight, there will be 7 "world champions" at middleweight. ******

GGG already is the belt was created so Flecther would still be fighting for a title,if the WBA allowed the Geale fight.

Daniel Jacobs should win this fight, then Soliman should be easy pickings, so someone like Curtis Stevens should try to go after him or Martin Murray. Otherwise you could see an unknown sneak-in, I don't expect Soliman to hold the title long.

                Jacobs looked sharp recently.
Lorenzo was a decent opponent, Nunez not so much, but regardless, I hope Danny gets a belt and goes on having a good carreer.

He deserves it after all he went through.
