So what oscar did for 6 rounds you think mayweather can do for 12 rds? Im trying to figure out how Oscar and floyd fight the same? I mean they both are great boxers but I dont think they fight the same. Im just debating with you...

I think Trinidad takes it by close decision.

it was oscar's stiff jab that really made the difference and dlh had to run for dear life in that last round. mayweather is a great defensive fighter but he doesnt have oscars offensive tools. I think a trinidad mayweather fight would be similair to his fight with cotto only trinidad was a much more lethal puncher than cotto and he always applied just as much pressure which floyd doesnt like

Actually Floyd has a better arsenal than Oscar who was a 1 handed fighter. Oscar may have a better jab and left hook certainly had more stopping power in them but Floyd throws a very good jab and his left hook is his best power punch plus his right hand is a do everything tool.

I wonder what clever stipulations Floyd would have used to avoid a prime Tito.

Well de lahoya boxed tito beautifully that night, he didnt take chances and fought smart which is similar to the way floyd fights all of his fights...tito struggled to make weight as well which is why he elected to move up rather then fight oscar again...

He handled Whitaker pretty well at his peak so I say he can beat Floyd head up.

I've never been a fan of Floyd, however I believe Mayweather would have won a UD vs. Trinidad at WW both at their prime based in Floyd's mobility. I think Trinidad actually lost to Oscar and although I don't support triangle theories Floyd pulled a very close decision against Oscar although the GB was not at his peak anymore. I still believe the only fighter who has convincingly defeated Floyd has been Jose Luis Castillo in their first fight. I must say that Floyd in the more recent times has not behaved like a real best P4P. Suffice remember the sucker punches to Ortiz, the catch weight vs. Alvarez, the glove "selection" in the Maidana fight among other antics that I am sure top ATG wouldn't have resourced to. Let's not forget Floyd is so arrogant and also was convicted to hit his female partner. And even if FM retires "undefeated" people should always remember the travesty of the scoring in the first fight with Castillo.

Do u even know what a shoulder roll is? Plus what you're saying is if Hopkins who is a big middleweight can do that to Tito than a small welterweight in Floyd would do the same. I'll just let u think about that 1.

Maybe he would have changed his nickname from "Money" to "Thuggery" and been a lil snitchin' b1tch that reports posts to the admins. Then have the nerve to call somebody "Fraud."
