Wright completely outclassed the guy, imagine what Floyd would have done.

He should talk about how he would have done against Cotto.

Ehhh...I wouldn't go that far. Oscar was schooling him like he was in 2nd grade.

Well he fought Chico Corrales who was as big a killer at featherweight as one cold find at the time so if he were up at 147 I don't know if he would dodge this fight.

In my view the 154 Tito was far too brief . . . I was thinking the other day how nice it would have been to have Tito remain at 154 for just a little while longer for the new year after his unification bout with Fernando in December 2000.

He could have arguably fought both Oscar and Shane in 2001 and that middleweight tournament would have still been waiting for him afterwards.

The Tito who reigned at 154 would have ran Floyd right out of the ring but Floyd had the style to win rounds ala Chico . . . the big difference would be that Chico was dead on his feet that night and at 154 Tito was an absolute monster against everyone he faced.

You're right they are not, which is why the same result would not occur.

Floyd would win even more convincingly.

(BTW, I'm not a Floyd fan and actually like Tito)

This is an astute observation . . . Winky and B-hop had the size and power to stand toe-to-toe with Tito and move if they wanted to. Floyd would have to use the Chico strategy all night if he really wanted to win in my view. That was how he fought Oscar, though to a lesser extent.

It would probablt work for some rounds but Tito wasn't opposed to fighting dirty to get you to slow down ala David Reid and the pressure, that constant pressure he used as he would just roll down hill on people like an inevitable avalanche . . . it tires people out as it did to Oscar and David who were winning their respective matches.

Would of been a great fight if it happened, but can't say Trinidad would win.Floyd would have avoided a guy like Tito early in his career and that's a fact.

No way in the world does Floyd use that stand and deliver defense that Winky used to dominate Tito . . . Floyd ain't built like that son

He would be asking to get knocked out at 154 or 147 if he would have used that strategy. His best chance to win is to fight as he did to Chico and make Tito follow him around the ring while landing lead left hooks and then spinning left then hit Tito with the lead right hands and spinning right all night
