Who the **** is "you guys" anyway? The difference is that the fight hasn't even been 48 hours and he is already mentioning mayweather's name. Cotto didn't even say it yet roach is running his damn mouth already. GTFO

Not a purist as much a fan who thinks fights fighters who earn rematches should get them. IMO, maidanan and herrera earned rematchs while matts and cotto would be given rematches because of the money that can be made.

If you are suggesting floyd/cotto 2 with maidana/broner 2 that would be ok I guess. FWIW, it would be an absoulutely great card if they could ever get all 3 fights.

After seeing Cotto's performance Saturday night i seriously doubt that Floyd could hurt or outpoint him for a "W". A week ago I would have thought different. Cotto looked re-born.

I hope you are not against the fight for these reasons.
So u're saying cotto is a new improved cotto now? And Floyd having 3 lineal belts means nothing to me I'm only brninging it up because it will be an easy way for him to get it since he beat cotto already. Remember cotto didn't get the credit he deserve because he picked and beat an old Martinez so how do u expect anyone to give Floyd credit if he challenge cotto for the belt next?

Can't speak for Arum but Freddie never mentions other fighters unless he is asked in interviews and such. When someone puts a mic in his face and mentions Mayweather what do you expect him to do??? Plead the 5th?

I am not saying he is new and improved but see quote above from LAPete.

OK. I dont care what kind of credit NSB imbeciles do or do not give. SO long as you have not become one.

I expect him to not say anything. My problem is since the fight it seems very few have actually taken time to appreciate what cotto just accomplished. Too many posters are commenting about floyd or GGG or Canelo when niether of them fought this weekend.

In the words of Bob Dylan - "Money does not talk.....IT SWEARS!" That being said a Mayweather vs Cotto rematch would put up huge PPV numbers and it's not the Fighters or Trainers who decide...it's the Promoters and Networks who make the call. IMHO, a Cotto re-match is well deserved and warranted. I would love to see that fight rather than a Kahn or Chino rematch.

we can agree to disagree. I thought floyd won 9-3 at worst 8-4.

MSG would be my choice. Its a shame floyd nor manny have fought at the mecca. Most likely, the Barclays Center. they've been trying to secure a floyd fight for a while.

word is the owner has supposedly been talking with Mayor DeBlassio about tax breaks for floyd. IDK for sure.
