People seem to forget... Martinez has never had to deal with the sting of defeat and humiliation that comes with losing to TBE. It's true that Sergio had a boo boo on a couple of his knees but none of that compares to the damage Cotto suffered when he took his first legit loss to Money May.

All this talk about Martinez was shot or washed up is inaccurate. Cotto was the more damaged fighter coming in last night due to his experience against Mayweather. The fact that Cotto beat Martinez even though he was more shop worn just proves the value of his boxing lessons from TBE

Cotto over Martinez > Ali over Frazier right?
That's how great a victory Cotto had? People just cannot be reasonable on this site.

Martinez is "way past prime" even though he hasn't tasted defeat since PWill back in the days. Yea, ok.

Another Puerto Rican Cotto d!ck rider showing his ignorance. What the hell does beating Pwill in 2009 have to do with Martinez and his prime now.

The guy is 40 years old now and jsut had 3 knee surgeries get that through ur thick head.
