He lost to Trout and Mayweather because of their "STYLES", Cotto did not look bad against Trout or Mayweather, they both just out-boxed him and countered him

Martinez had a style that Depended on him being quicker than his opponent, taking nothing away form Cotto win he looked good and did what he had to do to win

Now all of the sudden, he moves up one whole weight class, finds all this new punching power and KO's the middleweight king?? Yes, I know Martinez was past it worse than we thought, but still, Marquez has been crucified labeled a cheat with no evidence at all, even though Pac walked into the perfect punch. I am NOT saying he is on anything, I am just wondering, why no scrutiny or accusations for Cotto?
I think you should take a look at the post fight press conference. Todd Duboef made a good point about how Freddie got Miguel's power up. It had something to do with not burning his legs out.

My only question that lend itself to this argument is why wasn't he fazed at all by a guy that outweighed him by at least 10 -15 pounds? Cotto didn't look hurt by a single Martinez shot.

Speaking for myself I've watched Cotto very closely for ten years, every pro fight and he's never ever ever looked like that. Ever.
I'm with you man. Look, I know Martinez looked like utter crap but I've never, ever seen coot look like that. He looked like a PR version of Mayweather last night. He hurt a man 15 pounds heavier (just guessing at the weight) with nearly every punch, didn't appear to fade at all, was pinpoint with every single shot he threw and was miles faster than I have ever seen him before. The dude looked like a machine.

The people at my house were also wondering what was up with his amazing transformation. His trainer did work with GSP and that dude doesn't exactly look like he is a stranger to roids but I'll still give them the benefit of the doubt. I'll just say that was the best version of Cotto I have ever seen and I feel that the version of Cotto from last night would and should be favored against virtually anyone from 147-160

Usually when Martinez is hurting guys it's because he's stepping in with his straight left, he couldn't do it against Cotto for obvious reasons.

If he was working with Memo I'm sure he would have been accused.

Martinez had no balance at all, so every shot that landed made him stagger around & look hurt. It'd have been the same if a 140lb'er like Mattysse/provo hit him. Cotto just looked like cotto- a great WW

Martinez was only about 5lbs heavier than Cotto on fight night, maybe even less.
