He was scared even before the bell rang and once Cotto landed that hook, it was over. Sergio was gun shy. Cotto>Sergio at any stage in their careers.

Yup. Freddie was right. It was all about Miguel being a great boxer and dominating with a solid jab. He cut off the ring excellently. Serg looked like a rank amateur in there.

A 100% healthy Sergio Martinez would tear Cotto to shreds. Sergio has been hit by strong bigger middleweights his entire career. Im surpised people are so hung up on Cottos left hook. Cotto deserves very little credit for this win, IMHO.

You may have been following this sport for 20 years but you dont know jack about sports in general.
Ok so you are some kind of sports guru. I know well about sports in general. I know plenty about exercise seeing as how I have been in the army for 12 years. It seems that all you want to do is insult and come up with excuses. That's your choice. The last thing I will say is this. Sergio was the champ, the man to beat. If he wasn't 100% then he should have retired. With that being said he says he was 100%. His promoter says it. His trainer, his doctor and everyone in his camp says it. But you in your infinite sports wisdom know better than all the above. No need to go back and forth.I realize now I'm out of my league.

I disagree, Cotto fought him at the perfect time.

Yeah, you say that now. Yet before the fight you were saying the following:

Bro my friends who dont even watch boxing, were saying ast night his knee was completely stiff, he couldnt even bend it, and had zero explosiveness.

Martinez's trade mark style is explosive in and out style movements. Which requires good knees.

Just stop being a Puerto RIcan fanboy for sec and just look at this fight objectively. You're acting like a Mexican Canelo fanboy back when he was fighting nobodies.

There was no hobbling or knee issues Cotto is just better. Sergio, the man who fought last night said it himself.
Youre not being objective and going into nuthugging territory with those claims man. A prime Martinez would have most likely destroyed Cotto and that's why Cotto wouldnt have fought a prime Martinez.
Oh, if you expected Sergio to come up with excuses as of why he lost then you'll be waiting for a while.
Paul Williams would have ended this version of Martinez before round 5.
