Miguel Cotto wins against any version of Sergio Martinez!

I have watched the fight about four times now. Sergio has said himself he got caught and never recovered. Cotto had the game plan, training and skills to beat him on any night of his career. I have been saying this from the beginning Sergio, while a great athlete is not a great boxer. There was no hobbling or knee issues Cotto is just better. Sergio, the man who fought last night said it himself.

Yeah that's why he wanted nothing to do with Sergio from 2010 until now.

great win by cotto but its wrong to pretend there wasn't knee problems, the guy just came off a couple major surgeries and came in with knee sleeves for support. Cmo'n man. And IDK it would have been really nice to see last nights version of MC vs martinez that knocked out p will

Cotto would have always been problematic but when a fighter who's highly dependent on movement can no longer do that right, it's time to call it quits.

It's "sportsmanlike" and all for Martinez to not use any excuses but come on... His knees are destroyed and the fight was depressing to watch.

A fighter whose entire style revolves around quick feet with their hands low tripping all over themselves with blown out knees is as sad as watching a an old slow Roy Jones.

You don't get in the ring unless you're 100%. I never believe any fighter who claims he fought injured. That's nonsense. Martinez got smoked, and that's all there is to it.

Cotto would have taken a beating if that was prime martinez.

Cotto destroyed him and I agree, he would beat him at any point of Martinez' career. No disrespect to him but he has always been overrated.

Lastly, lets not act like this current version of Cotto is primed either. He has been through many brutal fights and taken a lot of punishment.
