    should be made?

Miguel Cotto has never looked better under the tutelage of Freddie Roach, even the advice in-between rounds and how Cotto took it in was a testament on how well they work together.

But what other trainer boxer partnerships would you like to see? To get the best out of certain boxers.

And what trainer boxer partnerships are not working at all?

I was always of the belief that Andre Berto should have been training with Floyd Sr. years ago. A guy as fast as him with decent pop who needed help with his defense should have seen the answer right in front of him. Berto and Sr would have been money.

Not sure where Berto's at right now, I know he's training to make a comeback but I doubt he'll rise to the same level he was seemingly rising to a few years ago.

The Garcia brothers are obviously doing well.

But what boxer that currently doesn't train with one of them would benefit greatley by teaming up

          Matthysse, maybe with Robert Garcia?

The only thing that comes close to this is Roach-Pacquiao. That's the other time a naturally smaller guy started jumping into weight classes most people thought he would get killed in and magically became twice as fast and twice as strong ----- in the process literally battering the absolute crap out of his opposition. Straight beatings. Not boxing matches.

Cotto showcased superhuman speed and destructive power last night the likes of which I haven't seen from him ever. My jaw was on the floor pretty much the whole time. Some of the counterpunches he landed towards the end were so fast it looked like he was teleporting. I'm still in awe.
