Yeah same way I feel. Good win for cotto but cant help but think any other top fighter could have done the same and worse.

Two of my favorite fighters - especially Martinez - and a fantastic performance from Cotto while being a fairly sad night for Maravilla.
Yeah, I'm a big fan of Maravilla. It ****** watching him go down repeatedly like that. It's boxing. You stick around long enough, that kind of shit happens. Props to Cotto for bringing it. Even a sub-100% Martinez is no small order.

Today you have shown that you are a true class act and I regret thinking differently through the buildup of the fight so you won't get anything but respect from me.

I think a lot of people were surprised by what they saw last night, this is Miguel Cotto at his finest at the late stage of his career. Not many expected to see what they saw last night. Truly impressive to watch.

I always knew Cotto was capable of being this type of fighter but I wondered when he'd be able to put it all together and with Roach he finally did. The conditioning coach also did a tremendous job with Cotto with moving him up in weight effectively.

It's just a great team with a great fighter who is willing to listen, learn and execute instructions. Many wonder what would have happened if these two would have paired sooner but I believe that it was because of all Cotto has gone thru that he's acquired the maturity that has allowed him to reach his full potential as a fighter.

It was an awesome night for me personally, one of my best memories as a boxing fan... I was screaming like a true psycho through the entire first round lol. Last night was a great example of why I love this sport.
Last night was Miguel's finest hour. It's a great memory to have as a fan.

Much respect to you. Unfortunately, you're one of only a few to give Cotto his full credit.

Understand: When I say Cotto is "the man," I mean it in a very broad sense. "He's the ****in' man." He deserves greater respect than most. I didn't mean to say he's "the man at 160." I didn't even think Sergio was the man at 160. Right now, it's looking like the boogeyman at middleweight is Golovkin. I don't think Miguel is going after him. I believe the writing is on the wall. Cotto will await the winner of Alvarez-Lara, in hopes Canelo wins. If Alvarez takes it, he's moving up for a megabucks showdown with Miguel.

We all knew a Cotto victory would be picked-apart. Whatever, man...whatever. Haters gonna hate....
