Why is Wladimir Klitschko reluctant to fight Kubrat Pulev?

It's about money and recognition. Beating a (semi)highly regarded yank that has a belt is much more valuable than fighting an eastern European robot from lowly Bulgaria.

No doubt that Pulev is more qualified than Stiverne (or Wilder), but that doesn't count here I'm afraid.

I understand this.but they did not mess Leapai around,or Thompson 2 when they were mandatories, with a will he won't he fight me scenario.Pulev has has to deal with a lot of feet dragging from the Klitschko camp, delaying the Povetkin fight to face Pianeta in turn delayed the actual Pulev date too !

He then for absolutely some reason unbeknown to myself is only entitled 20 percent split now ! I don't understand ? The IBF gave Groves 25 against Froch them because he wasnt in the top five for rematch he only gets 15,Pulev is no.1 !

This is all double standards, did Wladimir not earn enough against optional defences against Mormeck,Wach and Pianeta that he has had to accost the IBF for Kubrat's 5 percent?

This is a truly de****able treatment of a fellow professional, the IBF I held in high regard until this.Wladimir I am a huge fan of,does he not feel rich enough though ?

Because if he doesn't get that WBC title soon, the paper champion might avoid him like the plague.

A year ago or two ago, Wladimir was practically having to beg contenders to step in the ring with him. In such an atmosphere, it's been really bizarre to see how Pulev has been jerked around; he earned his title shot a long time ago.

Is there something personal between Wlad and Pulev? Have they ever sparred?

No, but it could be he sees Pulev as a difficult opponent which he won't be able to look good against. Pulev broke the K-2 fighter Ustinov down and KOed him late.

Also there is bad blood between K-2 and Sauerland.

To be fair when the Leapai fight happened, Vitali had just vacated the title Stiverne ended up winning... There wasn't a whole lot to do but fight a mandatory.

I do think Wladimir should fight Pulev if he isn't fighting Stiverne. It's the obvious alternative.

Or for Wlad haters you could say Pulev's silhouette closely resembles Corrie Sanders'.

                Hopefully he will.

Pulev is very different than Sanders. He's right-handed, not a big puncher, and he has excellent stamina. Sanders was left-handed, a very hard puncher, and had poor stamina.

Pulev is a mando so it'll happen but the fight I really want to see is Fury provided he gets by Chisora.

In the instances you mention the major difference is that the WBC belt was unavailable. It is not any more.

As for the pursesplit, my guess is that K2 will do anything to piss off Sauerland. How they got the IBF to approve it I dont know.
