There is no way Cotto does a better job on Mayweather in the rematch than Maidana would...

Perhaps Freddie just doesn't want to give the fans the real fight that we want to see with Canelo (If he beats Lara) vs Cotto.

Maidana is effective out there on that fight, as long as he keeps his ferocity and volume punches up he got the chance, that night, floyd is just willing to sit on ropes waiting for maidana to calm down a little bit, before asserting his own. Fortunately, maidana doesn't have extreme endurance. So floyd got away with a win that night.

Roach is talking out his ass

It's really getting laughable how anytime a fighter has a good performance the first thing people say is put him in there with Floyd these boy ain't ready and cotto already got beat I wouldn't have a problem with a rematch but it's gonna be the same thing

I hate to say it because I like him but Sergio was overrated his best win was against Kelly Pavlik or maybe Paul Williams he gets dropped in almost every fight against not the best of competition not to mention he 39 years old with bad knees coming off a year and a half layoff lets slow down...

cotto was a beast at 147 and 160 but a bum at 154 where floyd fought him. this should up floyd's cherry picking cred by a good amount.

Floyd would fight him. The perfect choice for Floyd. A cotto rematch would mean a lot of money and a new belt at a higher weight class without having to move much in weight

Not to mention that he missed damn near everything he was throwing a Floyd beat the piss outta him to the body. That's where the endurance problem came in.
