Hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach is pretty confident that his fighter, WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (39-4, 31KOs), can deal with WBA/IBO champion Gennady Golovkin (29-0, 26KOs). Golovkin is set to defend his titles on July 26th against former champion Daniel Geale.

Roach says he never watched Golovkin fight and doesn't appear to be too intimidated by his deadly reputation. Cotto made a big splash on the middleweight division on Saturday night, when he blew out lineal champion Sergio Martinez to capture the WBC crown in ten rounds.

The same equation applies to GGG. WHO has he rocked that is on a serious world class level? WHO have his opponents been? The issue with a lot of biased fans on this forum is they simply CANNOT give Cotto the Rican, his due credit. Eventually, when they keep betting their $300 rent money, they will only realize it when they are homeless. Cotto is a world class fighter when he has world class trainer/training. You don't have to learn this today, or even tomorrow, but you WILL learn this.
