Cotto is not under contract with Top Rank

I can't find the article, but Dan Rafael recently said Cotto is obligated to Top Rank from some weird reason despite not having a contract.

Cotto is close with Todd debuef Arums step son and the man who is going to take over TR soon, Todd is also the godfather of one of Cottos kids.

Todd mentioned it post fight that Cotto shook his hand and told him his handshake is his word and he won't break it, and said he will finish his career with Top Rank or something like that.

well if he is then chances are that means canelo is next whether he gets passed lara or not. hard fight for cotto. but probably the best fight for him to take if u ignore mayweather
