    Bring on Canelo!

    War Cotto!!!
That is what happened.....there will be a **** ton of ppl saying knee, age, and diminished skills....but those are the same ppl that said they wouldn't use that as an excuse but still did. It was a shut out. Not close. No matter the condition, it was a straight beatdown. Believe that

Good win from Cotto, but hard to judge when fighting a handicap.
It so obvious Sergio knees are gone, he was getting KD from average punches.
      Sergio should retire.

If you get in the ring, NO EXCUSES. But dont look now but Canelo can possibly be the next PPV King. Pacquiao, Cotto, possibly in his future and he's has Mosley and Mayweather Jr on his resume Oscar and Golden Boy can sure use it after this mess they're going thru

I get what you are saying but let me point a few things out

          1. Foreman....a longtime ago, he could have had 16 legs and 35 arms and lost badly

          2. Margarito wanted to fight Cotto to prove the "no wraps" ordeal, and didn't care about his eye and paid for it.

          3. Martinez has been begging for Cotto and got him, and his knee was a non factor till he got ****ed up.

          4. Cotto is my favorite boxer, but he is not Better than Mayweather. No one is. Do I think Cotto could beat him, yes, is he better, no.

Sorry if that came across condescending, but that wasn't where I was going with it. Just wanted to be clear.

No. His knees were fine, until he got rocked and had to put all the weight on them because he was fatigued and had fuzzy brain. Knee was not a factor until then, albeit, 20 sec into the first round....but he regained his composure and was steady until he was rocked again and again and again....if he would have come out and put some pepper on Cotto, this would have never have been mentioned, except for the ppl that say, "see, he beat him with one leg...." or some dumb **** like that

You forgot to mention those media companies are from the US therefore have an agenda. Paquiao, Martínez before this fight, Klitchskos, and others deserve the p4p status. Floyd is rated #1 in ducking, hugging, running, and elbowing. Floyd has list at least three times but received gifts. Floyd has the power of a Barbie doll. There. Your resume for Floyd is now finished. And you are no Spaniard

But, I do have a question....if not Cotto, who does Floyd fight? Is there anyone left?
I think Floyd leaps at the opportunity to fight Cotto. Floyd is very aware of boxing history and his place in it is something that's on his mind. Hence, the TBE campaign. And he knows most of the ATG welterweight fought for the middleweight strap at some point. And I'm sure he's kicking himself in the ass this morning for not fighting Martinez instead of Maidana last month. But Cotto offers a shot at the legitimate middleweight title. Its a fight he would be favored in. And outside of Manny, its the biggest paying fight out there. Only thing now is that even as a FA, Cotto is wanting to work with Arum. And now that GBP has split and Oscar is working with Arum. Cotto has some leverage because he can make a pile of money with Canelo. I know one thing. Floyd should be rooting like hell for Lara next month.
