My Question is why did Margarito get the bad Rep over bad wraps? Meanwhile Trinidad has admitted to using his illegals wraps over and over.
Both were found using wraps that did not confine to the rules of the commission. However they both suffered different faiths, Tito went on to live his life and cheat with no consequences but Margarito was punished. Plaster of Paris was not found, the DEA turned down to press charges cause no crime has been committed, So why was one fighter treated different then the other for the same situation?
Margarito, had a gauze not a "block" or "plaster of paris" but only some gauze, that was not allowed.
Trinidad had wrapped his hand illegally that ****m said it felt like a "cinderblock" and that was not allowed.
Trindad dad said they always wrapped his hands like this So basically he was wrapping his hands a different way then what was allowed in NY, technically cheating by not following the rules. He was caught by Hopkins/Naz and this is when this issue came to light, so safe to say that he infact cheated against at least these 3 as Team Tito is on record saying they always wrap his hands like that in the past and these 3 fights took place in NY were it is illegal.

Where is this style of wrapping is not allowed I am not 100% sure about so the number of fighters he cheated against could be higher depending on that particular state if they allowed Tito style of wrapping or not.
So in conclusion, By a fact Trinidad by his own team admission had cheated at least 3 times, mean while Margarito has always held his innocence and went in front of the commission board and had his wraps presented to the DEA to see if Criminal charges can be issued to which the DEA said no, no crime was committed!.
So Why Did Margarito get the Punishment and Not Tito? is it cause Tito is a American and Margarito not (even thought he was born here)?
