if i'm remembering correctly he's never been knocked out - the few times he's lost he's lost by decision... he's probably too old now but he's an amazing boxer.

aren't you guys the least bit excited that we have a new heavy on the scene with potential? sure he isnt a world beater yet but the guy looks more promising than anything ive seen in a long time, he is green but ill put him in right dam now with anybody not named vitali and ill put my money on peter to win. he kayo's ruiz brewster and byrd RIGHT now if he fought them. and dont say byrd is too slick, he has slowed down considerably, peter would kill mccline and would destroy byrd like ike did. i think this guy could be the one to clean out the pretenders and set up a mega fight with vitali in 2006

No, because heavyweights are not really something I have ever got excited about. Peter will be here for awhile but he needs alot of work in my eyes before saying he will take out most of the division.

This seems to happen all the time a fighter comes in on HBO or Showtime and knocks out a few no hopers or journeyman and all of a sudden they are the next dominant champion. Samuel Peter needs more work before beating the top guys.

Sam isnt quite ready to fight the champ/paper champs (except Lamon) but he def. shows alot of potential and is a possible future champ. That may be about all we can say about him at this point though.
