    LOL Verdejo

Did you guys see Verdejos opponent? Really come one step up in competition. But for real if Martinez is fit then he will win with a KO.

Felix's opponent looks like he has a pulse? Cool. Maybe we can get a better idea of his true potential.

I'll be really impressed with Miguel if he pulls this off. Even if Sergio has seen his best days, he's still a tall order for Cotto. After seeing the pics and footage, I'm smelling KO.

Cotto looks solid to me... his legs look very muscular and powerful probably the reason his jab is like a *******... Hopefully he gets a few good left hooks in the first couple rounds to get Martinez's respect

Can't wait for this fight. I just cant bet because i am a fan of both. I know who I want to win (Martinez) for a couple of reasons. But Cotto has never ducked, hide, came up with excuses to not fight with anyone. I do not like how he walked out after the trout fight but nobody is perfect and everyone has bad days.
The question i have is, did Cotto step into something a little too deep for himself. Martinez fought a cruiser weight Chavez jr whose bread a butter punch is a left hook to the body. Probably weighed 15+ or excuse me 20+ more lbs than Martinez. Don't give me that chit about he did not throw b4 the 11th round, he threw plenty b4 that.
Now...Cotto I do not believe is going to weigh not much more than he did today, if he does he will be gassed after the 4th rd martinez is going to gain prolly another 10-15 lbs. so if and when he lands that left str8 to head or body that is going to effect Cotto and don't care what anyone says. I see Cotto being really physical and prolly gonna bum rush those knees early with his knees. Martinez stayed in the pocket alot with P. Williams and that was very competitive, until the sequel and we all know what happened there. If it goes into late rounds they both will probably be gassed and i believe martinez with that weight will knock Cotto out HARD. And really I hope whoever wins, wins by KO. Not stoppage or UD. Because i like the boxers that go all out, KO or get KO. I believe martinez is more willing to risk getting KO than Cotto. Cotto will take a knee first (I see nothing wrong with that really but he only did that vs Margarito that i can remember so dont get all pissy. Love both fighters, i believe t will not go 12 rds. Either way they both lose there next bouts anyways but they are true fighters and ready for all challenges. (Cotto vs Canelo, Maravilla vs GGG). Best of luck to both of them. And oh yeah Latin from Manhattan knows what he is talking about if I knew how to give a green k I would.
Last time martinez talked this amount of chit is was against Chavez jr he did not talk all this mess for the Murray fight so i do believe he is serious when he will go for the KO. 15+ lbs on fight night and a slick southpaw will give cotto problems, think about it. Thanks for your time

I believe Miguel Cotto has made a very huge mistake in spotting Sergio Martinez those four extra pounds. They could prove to be pivotal in this bout. It indicates to me that Sergio is going to have added power and stamina against an already naturally smaller man in Cotto.

Also, Cotto didn't do himself any favors either for coming in weighing just a pound over the Junior middleweight division for more speed because he is not the faster/quicker guy anyway but Maravilla is. However, I do wish him nothing but the best tomorrow night though because he is going to need it against Martinez.
