I have always maintained that Froch would beat Calzaghe by KO.
Stylistically, Froch is all wrong for JC.

If the fight was to take place now then Carl Froch would be the hands down favorite to win. However, if both were yet in their primes, then it would have been no contest. Joe would have won quite convincingly in a complete shut out.

At best, Froch probably wouldn't have won more than a single round or two because Calzaghe's consistent awkwardness, slipperiness and volume punching would have constantly kept Carl off balance, to the point of him not being able to land anything of significance, in order to change the course of the fight.

One thing Joe never had Bombs in those feathers. Also Froch can **** with the best, including in the 12th. I think Froch would have a great chance of a KO on the most overly hyped brit in history!

People obviously haven't really seen joes fights , they just seen his highlights were he's already hurt and opponents and is throwing volume on the ropes, a lot of fighters lose technique when they get the rush of adrenaline from hurting the other guy. Joe always landed quality shots and had a great uppercut in particular

Some people.. The fight did NOT happen and likely ever wont and certainly at this point, shouldn't.
All we have is speculation and there is no way you can possibly think your speculation trumps someone else's.. Why to believe that would make you a delusional, narcissist, auto fellatio performer.
I know have seen more than just "some highlights" of both fighters and came to my conclusion the same way you did.. Just a different one.
