After 5 frames the weight and Sergio's skill level will betray Cotto.

    Martinez by 8th stanza TKO.
Based on all the excuses coming out of sergio's camp, I beg to differ! My knee are 100%,but why are they taking my knee braces! I will make 154 easly to fight Cotto, Mayweather or Pacman, now I can't make 159! please!

Sergio has never complained about not being able to make the weight, but for this request being silly of 1 pound, Cotto did the same to Margarito when they fought just to be an ******. I understand Cotto get the billing, come second to the ring, but be introduce second like if he was the champion and choose his corner are absurd requests. I don't understand how guys can move up and request this type of stuff, you never saw Duran, Leonard and other greats do this back in the time. They went up like real men and let the champions fight at their limits.

I agree 100%! I hate catchweights! but that is the way the game is played now! You & I may not like it; however that is the way boxing is now! If we want to stop catchweight in entirely & fix boxing, I think we should bring back same day weight in too! LOL I think it is unfair that any boxer could out weight other by 15-20 pounds, like Sergio, Chavez & many others do! That just as bad as catchweights, that is my point. But I do agree with your positon on catchweights!

I agree with everything you say as well except that Sergio has never outweight anyone in his middleweight career if anything Cotto will be the first one.

Well, you will see it this fight! The word is going around that Sergio is having a tough time making the weight. So what do you suppose will happen when he finally does? segio will be at 175 at least at fighttime to Cotto's 160 at best! watch bro!

It seems like people forget quickly how in the cotto pac fight there was a NO REHYDRATION CLAUSE in the contract. It would be different if there was one like that in this cotto martinez fight, but theres not, so why all the biitching?

Cotto walks out to the ring in the mid to high 60's, while Martinez walks out in the high 60's to low 70's.

Oh my god, how in the hell can cotto manage to beat Martinez when he is outweighed by a whopping 5 lbs....?
