Froch shouldn't openly duck fighters like that.

Seriously, how can you "duck" a guy you already fought? Especially someone you lost to? As I have said in another thread, "ducking" means avoiding a fighter of lower or equal standing. You can't duck a higher rated fighter.

If two guys fight, and then the loser goes on to kick a.ss left and right while the winner does nothing of note, and the loser demands a rematch and doesn't get it, then you could say the winner is ducking a rematch. But the loser can't duck a rematch period.

Yes it's a duck, but look at it one way....at least he fought him ONCE.

Think of all the other chumps who have ducked and never fought their nemesis ONCE
Ha! Still on top form my man!

        I didn't realise you were managing/promoting Froch's career?

You need to accept this is probably more than a business than a sport. You'll save yourself a lot of pain.

He fought him once and got comprehensively beaten. The rematch would be much the same with Andre hanging on for dear life. No One wants to see that.

In an ideal world i'd agree with you however, in this reality we live in Carl Froch has given us balls to the wall fights time and time again. Much more so than your average mollycoddled American "star." That fact is not up for debate. He deserves and has EARNED the right to a big payday to set up his young family. Moreover, it's not like Chavez is a soft touch. It would be a War. Undeniably so, the mix of Latino and British fans would be electric.

You're in no position to make such demands and frankly, look ****** doing so.

Is Ward even able to fight...does he even want to? I can sort of see Carl's point here. He's coming to the end of his career, wants to fight in vegas and make as much cash as he can before retiring. He hasnt got time to wait for Ward to raise his stock and I'm pretty sure that if Ward was the most lucrative option then Froch would fight him.

Gotta agree with Seek on this one. You're number two in the division you should seek to be number one. At least try to make an effort to get him to come to England, if not then it's Wards own doing. I do understand he's trying to get the big paydays, he's earned them, but he knows a Ward loss would make him lose his marketability. Gotta commend him somewhat for being honest with his fans, he knows he won't beat Ward.

I'd rather see Froch vs JCC as its 10x more entertaining than a boring Ward fight.

When did he say he wont or cant beat him. I thought he'd said the opposite?

168 is a division where I already know who the champ is and I already know who the #1 contender is.

Ward won convincingly and there is no need for a rematch. Sorry, selling tickets and having a hot wife doesn't make you the lineal champ.

If Chavez beats Froch, that's an option for Ward. He can also fight Degale, Golovkin or just move the hell up and challenge himself. In Ward's case, sorry, just showing up, winning then disappearing for 10 months doesn't make you a boss.
