Guys overrate skills, especially when it comes to their favorite fighter. If skills were all it took, Floyd would be fighting Kovalev, Rigo would be fighting Danny Garcia, etc. Skills and individuals have their limits. Cotto's best weight was 147. It's not like he was tearing-up 154 and everyone wanted to see what he'd do at 160. It looks to me like Miguel topped out at junior middleweight. Did he beat Mayweather? Did he even come close? Now I'm supposed to believe Cotto beats the lineal middleweight champion of the world? And it's not like Martinez is some unskilled plodder. He's fast, he's slick and he has good power. I don't see this ending well for Miguel.

Martinez should win, he is great but he knows that chavez almost killed him with two punches and with no training, he shouldnt be talking about the chavez fight. Sergios face was a mess ane even worse, his knee was busted. All with two blows.

Couldn't word it better myself most of what you point out (don't agree with the Floyd analogy lol) mostly because I post from my phone and I don't want to sit here typing for that long lol. People fail to understand cotto early in his career was trained by his uncle who guided him to 31-0. After he had a nasty dispute with him, they split and you'll think he's paying hot potato with trainers because he never keeps/feels comfortable with any. Are you serious bro? Cotto is a midget compared to Maravilla. Sergio is bigger, faster, and stronger. How does Cotto deal with that? As soon as Sergio starts to tag him from the outside Cotto's face will start to bust up like the Margarito fight. Maravilla has exceptional power from odd angles, he's gonna do a number on Cotto, probably gonna stop him late in a sad affair for the Boricua champion.
