    This part was interesting too...

SI.com: When Manny Pacquiao does his fights in Macau, it probably means the fight will generate fewer pay-per-view buys, which means less money for you. Is that accurate?

KH: That's kind of the misnomer of pay-per-view, that we're looking at it as some kind of revenue stream. It's really a tool for the few fighters who are in that echelon. It's not really of any importance to us. We're happy to do it and certainly no one markets them or distributes them better than HBO. But it's not the focus of our business. Our focus is on HBO, our primary platform. For us, pay-per--view is not an economic question. If the pay-per-view underperforms in the U.S., it's our job to minimize it as best we can. Beyond that, we don't share in the risk assessment.

HBO doesn't like the one fight deals, and want long-term contracts. Where they know the fighter will be with them for quite some time and at a fixed price that was determined a long time ago. It's the corporation way. They aren't fond of Freelancer types.
HBO wouldn't want a long-term contract for Quillin unless perhaps he beat Golovkin.

They don't want one-offs on boxers they're interested in, but they also don't want to be in position they were in with Rodriqguez, giving him a guarantee for more than just the bout they wanted (against Ward).

HBO's best to leave the Haymon game to SHO, they're doing fine without it.

HBO boxing is "dead" and yet it's the SHO schedule that's pretty much on hiatus while this whole GBP situation gets resolved.

        HBO's schedule is filling up with Provo-Algieri, Crawford-Gamboa, Golovkin-Geale, Rios-Chaves, Kovalev-TBA, and meanwhile....

        SHO's got Guerrero-Kamegai and ...
