I recognize that. I'm sure he is a decent man, and his encounter with me certainly does not define him as an individual. That is why I don't really hate him, and have still rooted for him in his fights after that day.

But someone of his stature can give a kid so much motivation & make their whole day by providing them with a friendly encounter that leaves them with a pleasant memory....It was just very disappointing to me after looking up to him for so many years.

I feel what you're saying. Imagine being a celebrity where you entire life is under a microscope and every where you go you get no privacy and people always coming up to you.

On the flip side no one put a gun to his head and said you better be a boxer or else.
