Haymon don't book dates. To the best of my knowledge that's the promoters job. I could be wrong though

Exactly, most of the fighters that's hired him in advisory roles have mangers as well. Haymon deal with economics in regards to his fighters and the very few understand this. If he was so interested in match making, he would hav been a promoter by now.

I could be wrong here too, but is that not why Duva is saying he's in breach of the Ali Act? Because he's performing activities like this which are the responsibility of the promoter and not the manager. Haymon is basically deciding what the deal is and then accepting the deal on the fighter's behalf.

What am I missing? You mean Oscar has no relationship with Showtime?

              oh, he does exists....

he's a very smart middle man...

an adviser .... what ever that means.....for he is not really a promoter in the true sense of the word...

back to which he needs legitimate promoters to represent fighters who got his services...

al's relation with the fighters is totally dependent on promoters working with him...

as al is mostly tied before with gbp, richard or no richard....i think al will not burn bridges with gbp with richard's departure...too smart for that....
