After all GBP did for him... I'm sorry, who was in the ring taking licks? Who was putting in the hours in the gym? I'm pretty sure GBP made a profit through his services, so it was a mutually beneficial relationship.

It's kind of funny when I think about things; I enjoyed boxing far more when I didn't discuss it with fanatics. I used to simply care about the fights, and never really cared for who would emerge victorious. Over the years promoters, musicians and sets of fans became relevant subject matters when discussing boxing; it is saddening.

to be fair you could easily argue that it was Schaffer who did alot for him and Oscar was a figure head for alot of it. The fact is that 90% of these GBP fighters have a close relationship with Schaffer, not Oscar
