Their legacy's and resumes and not even close. Froch is really really good, but Joey is a top 20 ATG. He brutally beat 2 legends in their prime on their own turf in Roy Jones Jr and B-Hop.

H2H Joe mauls Froch and knocks him out cold with a flurry of punches.
2 legends in their Prime??? Jones was 10 years past his prime.

is this the same Bhop who lost to Taylor.

you are in the running for most ****** post of the week.

Froch's 14 world title defenses against elite competition > Calzaghe's 20 something run of cab drivers, street cleaners and construction men.

I know. ******* is a hell of a drug, so we've got to expect Joe to come out with this kind of nonsense when he's buzzing.

froch will be the happier fighter with his career when he retires. Unlike calzaghe froch will know that he pushed himself to the very limit with his abilities and fought the best in the world in their primes. Sure he came up short a few times but he did the absolute max he could with his abilities.

the very fact that calzaghe fans point to beating a shot roy as one of Joe's best achievements in threads like this says all that needs to be said.

I don't get what all the fuss is about, every quote taken is a FACT.

Well of course one of those defences was against a prime undefeated Mikkel Kessler who he completely outclassed.

I love Froch and he's certainly faced an incredible string of opposition whereas the SMW divsion was pretty bare in Calzaghe's prime.

But Froch's 2 close fights with an older Kessler don't do him any favours when people start making comparisons to Calzaghe.

Calzaghe didn't conquer Amreeka at all. He only finished his last two fights by losing to a fading legend and beating a washed up legend.

Froch is restoring the reputation of Europe, which Calzaghe had damaged so much by being such a p*ssy.

How would Calzaghe have done against Benn, McClellan, Toney, Rocchigiani, Michalczewski, and Collins?
