Froch-Kessler II was for 2 titles. Unification takes precedence over a mandatory. Froch didn't drop anything. It was a massive fight at SMW.Unification? Didn't he vacate the title to fight Kessler? Who cares, the point being he doesn't seem to want the riskier fights. Stevenson was and is. KOing everybody and he didn't want the risk, be it for money or not. He knows he can't beat, so again he's using money as an excuse. If he wanted to fight Ward in Wembley, Ward would have no choice but to accept, but he didn't even propose that as an option which means he doesn't want to fight Ward period.
I can't believe ******s are now trying to revise history and claiming he should have fought a completely unknown Stevenson instead....LOL who had Stevenson fought?
I'll wait.Comment

Well if you don't give a *** about the business side of boxing then go find another sport because it's a very relevant factor. There's no point having a discussion with a complete spastic who discounts a large part of the sportComment

Stevenson wasn't even ranked in the top 10 at 168lbs at that point, he'd just gone 12 rounds with Donovan George. Kessler was second to Ward, and held a win over Froch. There was no question at that time as to which was the tougher fight.Unification? Didn't he vacate the title to fight Kessler? Who cares, the point being he doesn't seem to want the riskier fights. Froch would lose against Ward again and after that his stock would drop, it's good business to milk his Groves victory with a Chavez Jr. fight but he loses to Chavez Jr. anyways, at least he'll make more money than fightin Chavez Jr. instead of Ward

You can call it whatever the f.uck you want. I'm That's aware of and understand the business side of boxing. Difference between you and I is that I don't criticize certain fighters when the best business decision doesn't line up with what's the better fight. And then flip flop and applaud the same from one of my favs. That what makes you a complete joke and lame as hell. And the fact that you're willing to sit and try and justify your double standards makes you an even bigger joke. It would be better if you'd just come out and say "I love Froch and don't wanna see him get his ass kicked by Ward again." Or, "he's nearing the end of his career and I'd rather see him matched up with guys I know he'll beat." Cause that's basically all you're saying anyway.Comment
