I'm just wondering why you used "peanuts, literally".
Cotto's one of the top attractions in the sport...and a boxer Top Rank has worked with almost his entire pro career.
That's a little bit different situation.
And still, the point was, are Haymon's boxers really going to be satisfied on SHO, with no shot at moving up to HBO, and working under the banner of a lesser promoter like a Goossen or Michel, if it comes to that?
Ok, now that you're off picking words.
Cotto's situation is not common amongst Promoters though. This is fact. For every Miguel Cotto, there are way waaay more fighters who don't stay with the same Promoter their whole career. It's the equivalent of getting your first professional job and staying at that company for 20 years. What are the odds?
Haymon's fighters will be satisfied with whatever Promoter and whatever Network for as long as they are making good money. The minute they aren't making good money, that's when they may get restless, disgruntled, leave, etc. But the bottom line is money. And that is why a bunch of fighters are flocking to him, because financially, Haymon gets them the most money.

They were flocking to him...but let's see what happens with GBP and SHO, because as of right now, SHO's upcoming schedule is very empty.
Until Ward sorts out his legal issues, HBO is NOT going to back a pay-per-view. They have a strict company policy of not televising any fighter when there is a pending lawsuit between him and his promoter.
That could have some major implications in regards to the GBP rift. Some of the fighters who is no longer signed with GBP will potentially be unavailable for a fight if Oscar starts a lawsuit.
Very creative Junior Dong! Has the Mayweather restraining order against you been lifted? I heard you split attorney fees with Beercules, that's good to know. I hope you can keep up your 100% post rate in Floyd threads, it's impressive in its own way. Hard work, dedication. And obsession.
