            Smh... that must have been the first time you saw Morales fight if that's the only thing that comes to mind. Morales in his prime would have "iced" swift fyi.

                      The many wars that Erik had especially the trilogies against Barrera and Manny accelerated the process. At some time of his career, Morales looked like Abner Mares facing only champ after champ in a big row (no tune-ups or easy rival fights in a long while). He was deprived of another title when he faced David Diaz who received a home decision in Chicago. He did well retiring and he should have remained retired. This second term only showed a pale shell of the once great Erik and even with that he was still competitive against Maidana and Garcia (ist fight) besides beating Cano (who later went up to welterweight). Erik is a sure HOF and many of his fights will be always remembered.
