I don't know why Martinez breaks his hands. Maybe he has brittle bones. Maybe his trainer doesn't wrap his hands well. It could also have something to do with the force he generates. Who knows? All I know is that him being knocked down in recent fights has absolutely nothing to do with his punching power. lol

It's annoying how so many Martinez fans here want to have it both ways, on the one hand they say if Cotto wins it's because of Martinez' injuries his age and his grandmother being ugly. and if Martinez wins it's because Cotto never had a chance in the first place. Cotto is trying to take advantage of Martinez poor health blah blah blah. This is boxing it's a hurt the guy or he will hurt you and if you know his weaknesses use them against him and hurt him more. Cotto never said he wasn't elite he said it was about popularity and he was right.
