If I were Oscar, I wouldn't do ****. Just let the lawyers review Schaefer's conduct and decide whether or not he was acting in the best interests of Golden Boy during his tenure as CEO (he clearly wasn't). Don't give Haymon and Richie Rich the chance to outmaneuver you and get their project off the ground, that's just going to create a 3 way Cold War.
Sit back and let the Haymon fighters come to you. Sooner or later they're going to want to eat and need to pay rent, they're not going to sit around and wait for Schaefer to clear all of his legal hurdles.
In the meantime, focus on making Canleo-Lara as big as possible and promoting everyone you know for sure is under contract.

Think about it, if the fighters are frozen who does Mayweather fight in September? Who promotes the show?

GBP might also want to try and bring in some new blood and new talent, with no attachments to that group.
Of course Top Rank doesn't digure to be silent during this time.

If he (Oscar) controls all the Showtime dates, then those fighters will either have to officially sign with him, or at least give him options, or they might not be getting on Showtime. I doubt Arum would put Porter, Thurman, etc on HBO unless he was getting options too, so they wouldnt really have much choice.......
It will be interesting to see who blinks first......
