I think the most underrated aspect of hamed was his physical strength. He was only 5"4 but was a solid little dude at 126. I think this fight could be decided by who lands big first. Donaires fundamentals are better but hamed was so explosive. Hard fight to envision IMO both guys often looked for the big one.
Donaire vs Hamed @126

Oh please. Hamed hits harder than Rigo. Way harder. He'd deck Nonito pretty often. Hamed was the bigger puncher, stronger at 126 where Donaire has proven nothing, and fought and beat bigger, better opposition. What do you think Hamed would've done to Vic Darchinyan? Stop.I think he is, and when he lands that counter left or straight right it's goodnight for Hamed. Hamed ain't slick like Rigo where Donaire have trouble finding. He can't clown on Nonito, he'll be destroyed the moment he floats his chin in the air. Hamed's gonna wipe the canvass with his short multiple times.
Nonito has amazing reflexes and timing one must not forget and most of all THAT lethal left counter that put down many opponents that I've lost count.Comment

Hamed is one of the greatest punchers of all time.
Fckin hilarious people are bringing up Donaire's ''lethal left hook''
as a mention to his power. Hamed had a lethal everything.
Think the Prince knocks him out.Comment

I don't think there would ever be anyone who would put Hamed to sleep, Like I said before, the Hamed of 1997 would wipe the floor with any of todays FW's without a doubt, he isn't regarded as one of hardest P4P punchers for no reason you know?I think he is, and when he lands that counter left or straight right it's goodnight for Hamed. Hamed would be in my top 5 hardest punching FW's ever alongside Saddler, Armstrong, Sanchez and maybe Arguello.
It's distasteful sometimes when people try and piss on his parade because of his confidence rather than his boxing ability when he was actually that damn good at his best, the Nas who reigned in that era was truly a great entertainer and fighter.Comment
